Entry Gates, Shah & Nahar

This industrial premises in the heart of the city is looking at cleaning up its public spaces. Pranav was commissioned to design two of its public entrance lobbies, one of which is now complete. The complex now uses a rainwater harvesting facility, and soon solar power for communal areas. 



Materials used are IPS (Indian Patent Stone) on the walls, Corten Steel as a protective dado to prevent stray trolleys from damaging the wall surfaces, Steel light fixtures with high power LED lamps. The plants are watered automatically from airconditioning condensate, with a system to store excess water for long weekends.
