Bar and Bistro Cameo occupy the rooftop of MAP, Bengaluru, designed by Studio Pomegranate in collaboration with Abhishek Poddar and the Investorant team. The brief was simple: continue the museum’s architectural language, not depart from it.

The bar uses undulating mirrored panels, deep green walls, and a narrow brushed stainless steel counter to create a room whose colour comes from the people in it. The bistro faces west, enclosed in sliding aluminium windows, with crimson walls that shift from warm to deep as the day ends and a ledge-table along the parapet that gives the city’s best view to a single diner.
